Hello Everyone! The BC Rockhounder magazine/newsletter falls under the umbrella of the British Columbia Lapidary Society. It is published quarterly. Currently, there are 33 BCLS clubs around the province that engage in rockhounding and lapidary activities, many having their own shops where one can learn how to cut rock into slabs and how to make cabochons amongst many other things. They also host field trips, have their own gem shows and workshops.
The magazine is your go to source for club info, activities, shows plus great articles on many earth science topics.
There are no issues posted online yet so you’ll have to get an old fashioned subscription. I will post featured contents and excerpts.
